What Medexxa stores in your browser, and why

Medexxa uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage entries. They exist to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell browsing data.
1. Strictly necessary
These cannot be switched off; without them you cannot sign in or use the platform.
- Session and authentication tokens that keep you signed in securely and support 'keep me signed in' across tabs.
- Security tokens that protect forms and requests from misuse.
2. Preference storage
- Your chosen language — English, Sinhala or Tamil.
- Light or dark appearance.
- Low-power mode, which reduces visual effects on less powerful devices.
- Your selected workspace or role, so you return to the right dashboard.
- Default pharmacy and laboratory choices saved by professionals.
- Whether you have dismissed prompts such as the Google Drive connect banner.
3. What we do not use
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No third-party trackers that follow you across other websites. No sale or sharing of browsing data with data brokers.
4. Managing them
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out and resets your preferences; blocking the strictly necessary ones prevents Medexxa from working.
